One-component primer for low thickness direct application onto fibreglass boat bottoms. Also recommended as a primer coat before antifouling application and as a tie-coat between epoxy or polyurethane two-component paints and one-component finishes. Overcoatable with TOPKAPI enamel for topside and superstructure finish or with appropriate antifouling paint for boat bottom finish.
Usage :The surface to be coated should be perfectly cleaned, degreased with suitable detergent solution, rinsed with water and slightly sandpapered with fine abrasive paper. Remove dust particles from the surface.
Apply 1 coat of UNIFIBER PRIMER and let dry 6-8 hours. After 24 hours apply 1 coat of intermediate undercoat and let dry as recommended. After 6-8 hours sandpaper the surface and complete the coating system with 2 coats of recommended one-component topcoat enamel for topside and superstructures or 2 coats of antifouling paint for the bottom.
